Good Morning from The Harbour

Apollo Bay is the best stop over and stays before you heading to the Iconic Rock Formation internationally known as the 12 Apostles and many other wonderful experiences.
To ensure you can get your favorite accommodation, plan and book early, especially if your visit coincides with school holidays, public holidays and long weekends.
This slice of paradise is nestled along the Great Ocean Road.

In Apollo Bay, there is a lot to enjoy all year round, be it autumn, winter, spring and summer. Apollo Bay is surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty, be it the hills, forests, waterfalls, ocean, activities and more.
Here are some distances from other towns and areas to come to Apollo Bay.
Distance from Lorne is only 45 km
Distance from Forrest is only 40
Distance from 12Apostle is 88 km
“You will appreciate this place when you take your time to immerse and be part of this unspoiled paradise.”
Here are some ideas what to do in Apollo Bay.
Start my experience; I will spend my time just in town. We’ll visit the Marriners Lookout which takes about 5 minutes by car each way or 45 minutes on foot each way from the center of the town. The views of the township of Apollo Bay and surrounding areas are spectacular. Great place for an awesome and unforgettable selfie ….
Next, I will go to visit the Marengo Marine Sanctuary and experience up close the seals in their natural environment, and also learn about the marine ecology of Bass Strait and the Great Southern Ocean. I will book myself to the Seal Kayak Tours. More information can be obtained from the friendly staff at The Great Ocean Road Visitor Information Center in Apollo Bay. Apollo Bay also has a surf club which will delight the younger esteemed visitors. Suggestion for summer period, you might like to learn how to surf. This is very popular activity for all age.
There is also the Apollo Bay History Trail which consists of a sculpture trail in the town. The trail may lead you to the Apollo Bay harbour where visitors might enjoy the fishing activities. Hopefully, by now, you have worked up a good appetite which can be satisfied with a meal at the @Fishermen Co-Op where the fish is certainly fresh and the views while you enjoying your food are definitely spectacular.
These activities can take half a day or full day.

Travel to The rising Sun

Tokyo, Japan. I am so impressed and such as jaw opener to travel around Japan. I just finished my first book called “Wandering Through Japan: A Travel Dairy” three days ago. This book has so much information ready for you before your trip to Japan. Grab it now before it lasts on Amazon or email info@linasdailyjournal.blog.

Before embarking on your adventure through Japan, preparing yourself for the unique experiences that await you is essential. From cultural customs to language barriers, being well-prepared will enhance your travel experience and ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey. This subchapter will guide you through the necessary steps to prepare for your travel to Japan.

First and foremost, familiarize yourself with the rich culture and traditions of Japan. Research about the customs, etiquette, and social norms to avoid any unintentional disrespect or awkwardness. Understanding the Japanese way of life will allow you to immerse yourself in their culture and interact with locals more effectively.

Next, it is crucial to plan your itinerary in advance. Japan offers many attractions and destinations, each with its unique charm. Whether you’re drawn to the bustling streets of Tokyo, the serene temples of Kyoto, or the natural beauty of Hokkaido, make a list of must-visit places and allocate sufficient time for each. Consider the time of year you’ll be travelling, as Japan’s seasons offer distinct experiences.

Language barriers can sometimes pose a challenge, especially if you don’t speak Japanese. While many people in tourist areas can communicate in basic English, it is helpful to learn a few common Japanese phrases. Carry a pocket-sized phrasebook or utilize language learning apps to assist you in everyday interactions, such as ordering food or asking for directions.

Packing appropriately is another essential aspect of preparing for your journey. Japan’s weather can vary signicantly depending on the season and region. Be sure to pack suitable clothing and footwear for the specic time and locations you’ll be visiting. Additionally, consider the cultural modesty standards when choosing your attire for certain attractions like temples and shrines.

Finally, make sure you have all the necessary travel documents in order. Check the visa requirements for your nationality and ensure your passport has sufficient validity. It is also recommended to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against any unforeseen circumstances.
